Mafia
Support
Mafia runs the fiddly parts of a party game — dealing secret roles, timing the phases, counting votes — so the people at the table can get on with arguing. Players never pay. The host's first three games are free; after that a Game Night pass — bought in the Android or iOS app, at the price the store shows — opens 24 hours of unlimited hosting.
How a game works
- One person creates a game and reads out the six-letter room code.
- Everyone else joins with that code and a name. Their phone becomes their role card.
- Optionally, a spare tablet opens the board with the same code and sits in the middle of the table, showing the phase, the clock, and who is still in.
- The host deals the roles and moves the game through night, day, last word and the vote.
Common questions
Someone at the table has no phone. The host can add them as a seat and enter their night action and their vote on the console.
My screen stopped updating. If the connection drops, the app says so and reconnects on its own — you do not need to rejoin. If it stays disconnected, check the device's network.
I closed the app in the middle of a game. Open it again; your seat is remembered on the device and you go straight back to it.
I lost the host key. It is shown on the host console. Without it the room cannot be recovered, so a new game is the fastest fix — rooms only last twelve hours anyway.
Can I play without installing anything? Yes. The same game runs at mafia.aimdev.site in a browser, and app players and web players can share a room.
Report a problem
Email [email protected]. If it is about a specific game, include the room code and roughly when it happened — rooms are deleted twelve hours after they are created, so sooner is better.
Privacy
No account is needed to host or to play. A host may sign in with an AimDev account so the free games and a Game Night pass follow them between the app and the website. The privacy policy is short and lists what the app handles.
